Let the little things help cheer us up in our darkest times. For any kids out there, if you feel your heart is broken I tell you that you will get better. Parents of the lost will not completely heal so its up to the kids to help them. To any kids in Connecticut, try to find anyway to help these moms and dads. If anyone lost was your brother or sister, you have a big responsibility. It is scary but now you are the adults and your parents are the little ones.

Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. ~Joshua 1:9

Lord of the Recorder- Studio C

Ah, Studio C. I have become a fan. Here is a clip from one of their latest episodes, Lord of the Dance. I think it should be Lord of the Recorder, but that's just me. :) They come on every Monday night at 7 on BYUTV and you  can watch the episodes anytime at <www.byutv.com/studioc>

Little kids might not be able to understand every episode but this clip should be good for all ages.

Beautiful Bouquets

So I found some of the most beautiful bouquets on the Flowers by Michelle web sight. Who can think of a cuter gift than surprising someone with one of these? (Hint hint to all the husbands out there from your wives.)

With school getting back in soon, that means many of us have to get up earlier than we have been getting up during the summer. So cuddle up and watch a good family movie this morning. Afterall, this is the last Saturday of the summer. I recommend the movie Alice in Wonderland, cartoon or real.

Hot Cocoa in late August? Sounds at first like a total no but taste begs to differ. Made a cup this morning when it was still cool out and I could practly see the Christmas decorations. The thing with hot cocoa is that during summer you don't want it too hot or luke warm. One minute of 6floz of water in a 1200 watt microwave did the trip for me!
Oh, and the difference between hot cocoa and hot chocolate is that hot cocoa is a packet added to water because it has dried milk in it and hot chocolate you add milk to the scoopable powder found in things like NesleQuick. :P yum!

One more thing, turns out there is a way to make something called a frozen hot chocolate! Sounds good.

So I'm sharing a cool food item today. Did you know that Jello makes pudding? Probably. But did you know that in their pudding packs they offer sugarfree premade puddings like chocolate and Vanilla? It tastes soo good too.
